No fewer than 220 wooden chalets will be present around the Beurs, the St. Katelijneplein and Vismarkt for the Brussels annual European Christmas market. A huge array of Christmas goods, craft products and delicatessen will be on sale in the beautifully illuminated shopping area. A 48 m. high giant wheel will give fantastic views of the city and over the traditional Christmas tree and decorations on Grote Markt. In addition, an ice skating rink offers fun for young and old.

Around 50 wooden chalet-style huts sell Christmas decorations, candles, cards and gifts. Choirs singing carols provide musical accompaniments.

Luik (Liege) Christmas Market

The Christmas Village in Luik (Village de Noël de Liège) forms one of the largest Christmas markets in Belgium, attracting around 1 million visitors. This atmospheric venue will be located in the centre of town and consists of 120 wooden chalets full of tempting goodies, sweets, glühwein and original craft products and presents. Near the cathedral there will also be a skating rink.
