Brisbane International Airport in SW Queensland lies on the edge of Moreton Bay, 10 miles north of the city along the Gateway Motorway (the main highway linking the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast). There are 2 terminals 2 km. apart, connected by the Airtrain, T-Bus shuttle or taxis.
Taxi Taxis pick up from Arrivals Level 2 of the 4-levels International terminal, fare to the city costs around A$35.
Bus No public buses serve this airport. Coaches operated by Coachtrans provide transport to the Gold Coast (south) and the Sunshine Coast (north), plus frequent door to door coach stops to all CBD Hotels and the Roma Street Transit Centre bus and train hub, details from Brisbane Airport website.
Train The Airtrain International Airport station is located just outside, accessed via an overhead covered walkway; frequent trains travel to the city's Central Business District in 20 minutes for A$13 single. Also 2 trains an hour run directly between Brisbane Airport and the Gold Coast stations at Robina, Nerang and Helensvale.
Brisbane's main railway and bus station is the Roma Street Transit Centre, which is reasonably close to most city hotels. All intercity trains and long-distance buses depart from there. Accommodation can also be booked here.
