Charleroi Airport (CRL) is not close to Brussels but lies 35 miles distance south of the Belgian city. Ryanair buses run to central Brussel, or take the train from Charleroi station. Charleroi Airport could be handy for travel to nearby towns Lille, Namur, Dinant, Mons, Valenciennes or even Luxemburg. The airport is also a low cost hub for many cheap flights to Rome, Milan and Pisa.

This smaller airport is actually 35 miles south of the centre of Brussel, just a few miles north of Charleroi, with easy access off A54 motorway exit 24.

Bus	TEC bus route 68 runs to and from the centre of Charleroi and station. Coach transfer is scheduled between Brussels-South Charleroi airport and Brussels Midi railway station (1 hour journey), operating to flights timetable, tickets bought on coach.
Train	Bus Line A links Brussels South Charleroi airport to Charleroi SUD train station, from here frequent trains connect to destinations throughout Belgium and Europe, such as Bruges, Paris, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Geneva, Dusseldorf.
