    Aeroporto di Firenze (FLR) is located 3 miles northwest of the city. This airport has convenient public transport and is easily reached by car via the A1 and A11 motorways, follow signs 'Firenze Centro' for the city centre. Long stay car parking is also available for a reasonable cost at this airport.
    Taxi Metered taxis take about 15 minutes to the city centre, average taxi fare costs from around 16 Euros.
    Bus The Ataf SITA bus runs every hour to the main bus station, which is located right next to Santa Maria Novella train station in the centre of the city, journey time about 20 minutes.
    Train Florence airport does not have a direct train service, but an hourly bus takes passengers to Santa Maria Novella railway station in the city centre. This station is a major interchange for trains to many other Italian cities, including Milan, Bologna, Venice, Rome and Pisa.
