Flight and travel information to Jerez, Spain

In Andalusia's southwest corner in Spain, about halfway between Seville (Sevilla) and Gibraltar, lies the small town of Jerez de la Frontera. It is the home of the renowned Spanish sherry and brandy, but the town is also known for its thoroughbred Andalusian race horses and flamenco. The Aeropuerto de Jerez lies not far away.
Currently the only low cost airline flying direct to Jerez airport is Ryanair, see the Ryanair website for the latest fares.

Transfer and Travel from Jerez Airport (XRY), Spain

Jerez airport is about 6 miles outside the centre of Jerez de la Frontera, a lovely old Spanish town 25 miles north of Cadiz. By car follow the signs to Sevilla along the N-IV route.
Taxi	The airport didn't used to be served by public transport, a taxi to Jerez will take about 15 minutes and should cost around 10 Euros.
Bus	Recently a new cheap daily public bus service has started to run between Jerez Airport and Jerez town. The nearest bus station is in Jerez, from here buses run to Cadiz and other Spanish cities. Bus terminal is on Calle Cartuja at the corner of Calle Madre de Dios.
Train	Jerez has a train station at Plaza de la Estación (eastern end of Calle Medina), with trains connecting to Cadiz and Seville.
