Pakistan Airlines (PIA) is the only carrier to offer direct flights to the Punjab capital from the UK. They have regular cheap flights taking under 7 hours from both Manchester and Heathrow. Other alternatives from regional airports is with Emirates, they do have some real bargain fares, from Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester and Birmingham.
Lahore Airport (LHE) is situated close to the eastern side of Lahore, the major cultural, historical and industrial town in west Pakistan.

Transport from Lahore Airport (LHE), Punjab Pakistan

The clean and spacious new Allama Iqbal International Airport is just 5 miles southeast of Pakistan's 2nd largest city and capital of the Punjab province. It has 2 terminals, a tourist office and a railway desk. Lahore is connected by good motorway to Pakistan's capital Islamabad.
Taxis	Available, but if not metered agree the fare before setting off. Beware of touts and overcharging.
Bus	Frequent coaches and buses run to the city. Many hotels will offer a courtesy bus for guests. Cheap transport around the city is provided by taxis, buses, auto-rickshaws or horse-driven tonga.
Train	No rail connection to this airport. Lahore's main city centre railway station has train routes to many destinations including Multan, Quetta, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Peshawar.
