Marseille - Provence airport lies close to Marignane, on the shores of Lake Berre, about 13 miles northwest of the city and 13 miles southwest of Aix-en-Provence.

The main railway station is Marseille Gare St. Charles which is well-connected to the underground, to the TGV long distance network and many buses also stop here.
