Flight and travel information to Pau, Spain

Pau is a good destination for those visiting the western Pyrenees of France. Close to Pau lies the pilgrim town of Lourdes and a little further south are the famous Col d'Aubisque and Col du Tourmalet mountain passes. Getting to/from Pau Airport (PUF),

Pau - Pyrénées International airport lies 8 miles north outside Pau (Aquitaine), close to Spanish border. Good airport for Landes beaches, Pyrenees National Park & ski resorts, Lourdes pilgrim town.
Taxi	Taxis are available at the airport and will cost around EUR 25 to town.
Bus	An airport shuttle bus runs to the railway station car park, via Cours Lyautey - Université, Place de Verdun, Place Clémenceau. Next to Place Clémenceau are several bus stations with connections to many places.
Train	Nearest station is Gare de Pau SNCF station, located by the river on the southern edge of the city centre. Pau lies on the main east/west rail route, with connections to Bayonne and Biarritz to the west, Lourdes, Tarbes and Toulouse to the east, as well as to Bordeaux and Paris.
