Connections from Pisa Airport (PSA), Italy
Only 1 mile out of town, excellent quick and cheap public transport services connect Pisa's Galileo Galilei airport to Florence and to the towns and cities of Tuscany.
Taxi
Takes about 10 minutes to the town centre and should cost about 8-10 Euros.
Bus
For less than £1 you can take a CPT bus no 3, it leaves for the city centre and the train station every 20 minutes and the journey goes past the leaning tower. Tickets can be used on other bus services for an hour. The Terravision coach service runs 12 times a day to Florence 'Santa Maria Novella' main train station.
Train
Pisa Airport's own railway station has direct connections to Pisa Centrale station, Florence, Lucca, Viareggio, Pistoia & Montecatini. Trains to Florence continue to Pontedera and Empoli. Single fare to Florence is about £4.50. Tickets can be purchased at the information office in the terminal.
