Toronto Pearson International Airport is a large, spacious and busy airport, located about 19 miles northwest outside the Canadian metropolis, off the Highways 409 and 427.

It is also the departure point for "The Canadian", the transcontinental service travelling via Jasper and the Rocky Mountains to Vancouver on the Pacific coast. A new rail link from Union Station to Toronto Pearson airport is planned for 2009.
