Travel and Transfer from Zurich Airport (ZRH), Switzerland

Zurich airport is about 6.5 miles drive from the city centre, located at the centre of the Swiss road network with excellent connections to Zurich and other cities. Air Berlin is the main low fare airline flying into Zurich airport from Britain.
Taxi	From outside Terminals 1 and 2, fare from EUR 35 - 45.
Bus	Bus Terminal is adjacent to Car Parking 2, regular bus lines serve regional towns and villages. Many hotels in the airport area and Zurich offer their own shuttle bus service.
Train	Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) station is beneath the airport, S-Bahn trains run often to Zürich's Hauptbahnhof (central station) in 12 minutes. From here, numerous inter-city and regional trains connect to many main towns in Switzerland: Berne, Basel, St. Gallen, Lucerne, Constance, Geneva, Lausanne, Zug, Lugano.

Zürichsee - Scenic lakeside strolling along Lake Zurich which its beautiful Alpine backdrop, or take a steam ship tour.
Grossmünster - Lovely old Romanesque church.
Bahnhofstrasse - The best shopping in town.
Polybahn - This 19th C funicular gives fine views and a nice terrace at the top.
